You’ve hopefully all heard of the Wii by now. Nintendo’s new console uses funky motion-sensing controllers for a new take on the whole gaming experience. Kevin, a workmate and Nintendo fanboy had his Wii on pre-order since September to ensure he wasn’t one of the unlucky ones who missed out in the xmas rush.
The new projector had been a great success so far and so a few days after Chritsmas, Kevin brought his Wii over for some big-screen gaming. Needless to say we had loads of food and grog, (Belgian beer, mulled wine, sangria and egg-nog… mmm…) and a good time was had by all. Have a look at some of the photos here.

Christmas time in London! The 2006 festive season brought us the usual mix of gargantuan quantities of food, a copious supply of drink and plenty of fun, laughs and laziness.
After Christmas parties and the December work wind-down, Bryce and ourselves celebrated Christmas Eve with a cheese and wine evening. To the cheese, salami and countless bottles of European wine we’d picked up on our trip to Belgium we added a number of British cheeses and other tasty snacks, resulting in a handsome spread. Put on some good tunes and settled in for the evening.

Last year we were lucky enough to be in Vienna, Austria the weekend before Christmas. Our main reason for being there was to see the mighty Opeth but we were also lucky enough to visit the amazing Vienna Christmas Markets. Walking around the little wooden "chalets" and drinking mulled wine while a light snow fell was about about as Christmassy as it gets, so we thought we’d get over for some more European Christmas festivities this year.
We opened the invitation to the rest of our housemates and Bryce and Kris ended up joining us as we piled into our little Nissan Sunny at about 4am, heading south east toward the port of Dover and an early-morning ferry to Dunkirk, France. Read more…
