
The whole of London had been bracing for some heavy snow overnight and we certainly weren’t disappointed. When we woke there were already 4 inches on the ground and it was still falling steadily.
Of course this meant that public transport was in disarray and getting to work was nigh on impossible. So after an impromptu snowball fight in the back yard we donned our snow gear, grabbed the sleds and trudged up to the local park. You can see some photos of us playing in the snow here.

Last November we went along to watch the friendly match between the Socceroos and fellow World Cup underdogs Ghana. That game ended in a 1-all draw and so we returned to Loftus Road hoping for a better result against our next opponent, Denmark. The news in the lead-up to the game didn’t bode well for our boys – with several key players out injured or with wives/girlfriends due to give birth, it was going to be an uphill struggle against the highly-rated Danes. Spamalot, Eric Idle’s musical based on the ever popular "Monty Python and the Holy Grail" has been receiving rave reviews ever since it opened in the West End. We’d promised to take housemate Kris to see the show as a Christmas present. Her time in the UK was fast running out, so we finally organised a night to go along and it turned out everybody else in the house was keen as well! Read more…
