Sicily

Just came back from a very relaxing long weekend in sunny Sicily…
Our cheap late-night Ryanair flight landed in Palmero in north-west Sicily an hour later than scheduled. So it was almost midnight as we jumped in a hire car and headed off in the direction of Taormina on the east coast.
We spent the next couple of nights at the lovely Baia Taormina Hotel with its amazing views of the Mediterranean coastline. After spending our first day exploring the town, the rest of our time was devoted to relaxing by the pool and enjoying the local cuisine.
On our last day we drove down to see Mt Etna and then made our way around the coastline back to Palmero for the flight home. You can check out a few photos of us living it up here.
