Mini School Reunion in Richmond
June 17th, 2007 at 09:12pm James

Sarah’s friend Viv just flew in to the UK for a holiday. And what better way for her to start her trip than with a mini-reunion with some of the other Aussie expats in London that she and Sarah went to school with?
The chosen venue was the Pitcher and Piano, a lovely spot in Richmond overlooking the river. Brenton and Sam came up the river in their boat and brought along their daughter Lilly. This was the first time we’d seen her and she’s already got a little brother or sister on the way!
Also along were Mark and Robyn and my old workmate Barnaby – the last time we’d seen the three of them was at Ascott races for Sarah’s birthday a couple of months back so we were long overdue for a beer together!
We enjoyed a very relaxed and tasty lunch out in the beer garden. The weather managed to stay nice and so we stuck around to chat over another drink or two and Viv was introduced to Pimm’s – the quintessential English summer drink. Great to see everyone again before our big European trip – hopefully it won’t be quite so long until the next reunion!
As always there’s a few more pics to see here.
