Witchcraft are one of my favourite bands to emerge in recent years. Their style harks back to early Black Sabbath but also draws on enough other influences to give the band their own distinctive sound, rounded off by the unique howling vocals of front man Magnus Pelander.
Last time Witchcraft were in London was as a support and that was when they first caught my ear. Since then I’ve become a big fan so I was very excited to get the chance to see them live once more. Read more…

When we heard about Led Zeppelin’s reunion gig, my first thought was "I have to be there no matter what". However being one the most anticipated gigs of all time, it wasn’t any surprise to see that overwhelming demand (20 million+ applications for less than 20,000 seats) meant that our chances were always going to be slim. So, what to do for our 2nd wedding anniversary as the cold, dark winter begins to set in across London? Why, bugger off to the warmer climes of the Canary Islands of course!
We took the early-morning flight south via Madrid and went on to spend a lovely 4-day weekend on the island of Tenerife enjoying the sunshine and generally lazing about not doing very much. Read more…
